Water Holds Memory (2024)
Junadry and I had the honor of participating in the residency program Water Holds Memory of the Terra Foundation in Giverny, France. None other than the founding director of 'the Center of Black European Studies and the Atlantic' Mame-Fatou Niang brought all of us artists, architects, authors, curators and scholars together. Everyone presented their work and discussed the layers of each other's artistic endeavours, zooming in on our aesthetics, ethics, and cultural critique. It was very inspiring for Junadry and I to present our art project La Sirène and The Museum of Black Futures in this global context. More updates and reflections will come soon!
